About "Due" Numbers

Many, many people believe that if a number has not come up recently that it is due to be picked.  Many mathematicians agree that randomized numbers cannot come due because in a random system the system has no memory of the previous numbers picked, therefore, the odds are the same for picking numbers that are "due" as for ALL of them.

Logic, nevertheless holds that should you flip a coin 10 times and get "heads" all ten, that "tails" is TRULY DUE since the odds should be 50/50 as the coin has two sides only.  People deduce this, and there is some truth that this will occur EVEN THOUGH THERE IS ALREADY A STREAK OPERATING AGAINST THE ODDS.  Winning streaks are very useful in certain instances such as baseball and boxing BUT not that predictable when the field is something like numbers from 1 to 60 which creates MILLIONS of number combination possibilities.

Some players find it useful to figure a "TELL DATE" from the last lottery of that sort before the latest.  An example would be using the MIDDLE number of 5 as a date and the preceeding as the month which MAY require the SHRINKING if the number if it is greater than 12 for twelve months.  Then the assumption goes that if the date is later in the year, use the PREVIOUS YEAR.  For example, 26-34-18-36-04.  The center number is 18 so reducing it is not necessary for a date of the month as it is LESS than 31, now the 34 is larger than the 1-12 SET so it is reduced by adding its 3 and 4 to get 7...tell date is 7/18...so one may use the 5 drawn for that date OR add one subtract one etc according to some sort of "RULE".  If that date was 10-21-02-28-36, (The DRAWN ORDER SINCE NOT ASCENDING as 1-2-3-4-5) .  The NEW DEDUCTED NUMBERS MIGHT LOOK LIKE 11-20-03-35-05 for PLUS 1, minus 1,plus 1 etc. method applied to the numbers drawn on 7/18/12.

You may try this method or variations AND YOU NEED NOT ACTUALLY PLAY, just be hypothetical, write them down and LATER SEE if any "hit" on the draw.  Of course, to actually WIN the prize, you MUST buy at least ONE set of numbers to WIN...do not try to BUY a win as in getting 10, 20 or a hundred tickets SINCE even a 5 number draw has ASTRONOMICAL ODDS AGAINST WINNING even 2 numbers.

A lottery result poster lady admits that she only plays the PICK 3 since the odds are the best, something like 1000 to one that all 3 will hit, much higher for EXACT ORDER which has a much bigger PAYOUT.

GOOD LUCK, FELLOW LOTTERY SMUCK!!  Yes, playing the extreme odds for years, sometimes with lotto authorities MAKING IT EVEN HARDER TO WIN and MORE EXPENSIVE to play.
